The hotel is right in the very center of Arachova, this mountain town built on the slopes of Parnassos. You cannot get more central or closer to all action and activities taking place within its heart. Formaela cheese- a local PDO product- stores among many other traditional shops selling hand woven carpets and winter equipment surround the hotel. The town is made up of narrow cobblestone streets climbing higher and higher up the mountain with plenty picturesque photo opportunities around every turn.

Staying downtown means you won’t have to drive your car for whatever fun you choose later at night. The best bars and restaurants like "Kaplanis" or "Panagiota" are all within a short walking distance. But that is also right in the thick of all action, an immensely popular tourist spot. Arachova does not resemble any sleepy mountain village in winter; it’s high voltage, hi-energy destination with weekend Athenians more often than not.

Two big reasons, basically, for which Parnassia is so perfectly strategically placed: skiing and history. The ski center (Kellaria and Fterolakka) is about a 25-30 minute drive further up the mountain. Down the other side of the mountain toward the coast, just about ten to fifteen minutes by car, lies Delphi - once considered in ancient times as the "Navel" or center point of all creation on this planet we call home today! That's why it makes such an excellent base camp hotel with a mixed itinerary involving both sporting activities and cultural exploration.
